Old Colony Trust Company (second) is built.

Designed in the Renaissance Revival style, it is located at 17 Court Street. An 11-story tower is added in 1923. The building becomes an outpatient clinic for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 1947 and a shelter for veterans in 1990.*
